He spent countless hours crafting and perfecting every detail, ensuring that Glenworld was a hidden paradise for his Glen dolls. My journey began with a deep appreciation for The Big Lez Show and the endearing character of Sassy. Determined to bring Sassy to life in a tangible form, I spent countless hours perfecting my sculpting, moulding and casting techniques to ensure i could deliver a sculpture truly captures the character’s spirit. Since then, I’ve expanded the character set and developed my skill set with crucial feedback from other fans—both online in popular social media groups and among my own friends.
I’m now fortunate to have been in contact with the creator of the cartoon. I keep him updated on what I’m working on, and sent him a few sets of the sculptures. It was amazing to get his feedback on the work he inspired.
My position on the creative license of the characters from The Big Lez Show remains one of deep respect and transparency. While this is still just a hobby for me—something that helps me grow as a sculptor while sharing my love for the show—I always strive to ensure that the original creator is comfortable with what I’m doing.

After sculpting the original clay piece, I make a silicone mold to cast a limited number of statues in jesmonite. This allows me to maintain the quality and consistency of each statue while preserving the handmade feel.
